CeCe Espeut
Incarceration and The Clemency Guide
How can a vivacious, bright young woman from an affluent and successful family, go from serving her country as a sergeant in the marines, to being incarcerated?
It happened to CeCe Espeut and she is now on an unstoppable mission. Granted clemency (i.e., getting her civil rights restored) in 2012 by Florida Governor Rick Scott, she has become an advocate for the rehabilitation (starting with their own mindset) and civil rights restoration of ex-offenders.
Her book, Florida Clemency Guide: Can Your Criminal Record by Sealed, Expunged or Pardoned? is available on Amazon. She shares her unique story - how strategic planning and goal setting changed her life and how it can change the lives of everyone she speaks to. As an inspirational speaker and author, she has spent the last 5 years speaking at drug rehab centers, on clemency for and recidivism of inmates. CeCe’s life is centered on 3 core values – God, Family and Education.
Her mission is to serve, support and share. In her photography, she sought to capture the essence, the power and the beauty of her clients. Now, her current goal is to write a Clemency Guide book for every state in the U.S., citing each state’s unique laws and requirements.
